Shoreditch and Hoxton were the original Fri-Sun party spots of my twenties, and even though the area has changed significantly sprawling London’s own Silicon Valley and chains a-plenty, I still have a lot of love for this area. When it comes to drinks, eats, shopping and fun the area still retains its appeal with loads of great spots to offer, and with its relaxed vibe it's a pretty good place to hangout with your hound too.

We've been stalling on our first post of 2016, as we wanted to kick off the year with this bobby-dazzler of a photo-shoot with pet photographer Rachel Oates, taken for the latest issue of Dog Friendly Magazine.
Our setting was Seven Dials, a truly gorgeous area tucked between Covent Garden and Soho – and one of our all time favourite shopping and hangout spots. Dog Friendly asked if we’d be kind enough to visit Bow Wow London, the award-winning dog shop to see what all the fuss was about, as well as sniffing out some of their dog-friendly neighbours.

With no less than five huge halls, packed with breed fancying, canine competitions, dazzling dog displays and endless shop-til-you-drop ops, it’s a whirlwind of excitement. Sorry for our blogging absence. Basil and I have been caught up in a social whirlwind, culminating with the inaugural StyleTails and PipsDish Dog Lovers Sunday Lunch, which we attended last Sunday in London’s Covent Garden.
As doggy outings go, this relaxed, friendly and tasty afternoon has soared to the top of our ‘fun things to do you with your dog’ list, and is a must-do for modern dogs about town and their owners …
