A wave of doggy excitement swept through our house this morning as Basil’s got his chops around some tasty treats from brand, spanking new, all natural, dog treat company Sniffy’s. We caught wind (pardon the pun) of their Bum Sniffingly Good™ Bites last week in a chance encounter with their business lead – Nacho, an ex-rescue dog and his owner Leean at the Dogs Trust Honours Awards.
It’s been a while since our lastNine To Fidobut we’re delighted to share our interview with Dragon’s Den success story – Marie Sawle, Founder and Managing Director of nutritious dog snack companyBilly + Margot. Marie launched her first product –iced treats for dogs- in March 2012 at Crufts and hasn’t looked back since.
Basil Barkarama has had a busy schedule of late what with training, walks with fellow squishy facers and hanging out with world famous male models so we called upon our favourite Basenji Anubisto review one of London’s hottest hound tickets in town. Over to you Anubis ….
If the truth be told, we're not exactly barkers for baking. Our attempts generally result in a sore tummy from too much ‘taste testing’, a finished product that is more miss than hit and a kitchen that looks like the Tasmanian Devil has just torn through it. However, we are barkers for spoiling Basil Barkarama so we decided to dust off the pinny and give this baking malarkey another shot.
Arriving atMungo & Maudpet boutique in South West London at the end of a typical journey on public transport, pup and I were somewhat stressed. Basil especially after an encounter with a pair of fiddle-waving buskers who’d jumped our tube to play out-of-tune, high-pitched ditties. However, upon opening the door of what is probably the most beautiful pet boutique we’ve ever seen, our stress was immediately washed away for we were greeted with gold star biscuits treats, fresh water, warm smiles and sweet smells - so on the last point alone, Mungo & Maud is not your average pet store.
