Book your ticket, spruce up your pooch and make a Valentine's doggy date at Dogs Trust #MicroChippy – the first pup-up diner purpose built for hounds and their humans.
Hot off the press, we can tell you that the décor will be 1950’s diner style (big Barkarama tick) and the food - gourmet hot dogs from Bubbledogs and champagne for you and a vet-approved menu for your dog. Open 13 & 14 February in London’s Clerkenwell, MicroChippy is our kind of dog-friendly social and is set to be hottest Valentine’s ticket in all of dog-town!
Hearts, fluffy stuff and tasty food aside, Dogs Trust MicroChippy has been created for a damn good reason; to raise awareness for the new microchipping legislation coming into force this April. We’re pretty sure that all our responsible readers have their canine ‘chipped, however, there’s still over a million dogs in the UK that aren't so help spread the word… come 6 April, dog owners in England, Wales and Scotland MUST have their pets microchipped and ensure registered address details are kept up to date or risk a fine of up to £500.
Attend MicroChippy with your dog and you’ll also be able to give their chip a quick service to check that their contact details are up to date so you can be easily reunited should they become lost or stolen. If your canine is chip-less, Dogs Trust will be on hand to tell you how you can get one for free via their Rehoming Centres and get on the right side of the law.
Dogs Trust MicroChippy pup-up is open 13 & 14 February 2016 at the Printworks Kitchen, 20-26 Rosebery Avenue, London, EC1R 4SX. Spaces must be reserved in advance with tickets priced £12 per person including a hotdog, side and a glass of champagne or soft drink. Dogs go free and 100% profits from ticket sales will be donated to Dogs Trust.
