Even as a responsible adult I still find myself getting excited about stationery, so when we got wind of a week celebrating the magic that is pretty paper, cute note cards and more, we jumped at the chance to blog about some of our pet-themed finds.
National Stationery Week (27 April to 23 May) is designed to encourage people, especially kids, to put pen to paper to write their personal correspondence and notes, rather than texting, emailing, day-dreaming and list-making on their nearest device.
In a world that’s gone digital mad (guilty), National Stationery Week celebrates the written word and all the wonderful stationary products, which give so much joy. To mark the occasion we’ve sniffed out eight, fun dog and cat-themed stationery finds…
SHOP: SAUSAGE DOG PEN (above), £3.99, Notonthehighstreet.com | DOG & BIRDS NOTEBOOK, £6.50, Rakuten.co.uk | 5 COLOURED CAT HIGHLIGHTERS, £3, Paperchase.co.uk | CAT & DOG NOTECARDS, £11, Shopmerimeri.co.uk | NOTEBOOK ‘DOGS’, £2.25, Merrimaking.co.uk | ORIGAMI NOTEPAPER SET IN CAT DESIGN, £9.50, Lollipopdesigns.co.uk | GIANT SAUSAGE DOG ERASER, £7, Johnlewis.com | DOG STICKERS, £3, Notonthehighstreet
And just in... we literally finished tapping out this post, and in flew an email from uber-talented gals at Prettyfluffy.com with a DIY Dalmatian stationery guide. Follow this link to learn how to make their cute spotty stationery.
